General

Are barbecues allowed in the campsite?

Barbecuing is allowed, as long as it does not disturb the other guests and no code orange/red has been issued by the fire service. Use a safe barbecue and keep fire extinguishers at hand. A bucket of water is therefore mandatory! Fire baskets and open fires are not allowed.

Are pets allowed in the campsite?

Pets are not allowed on the entire campsite.

Can I have my mail delivered during my holidays?

The mail and parcels can be collected at the reception, on the side in the reception there is a mailbox where all the mail is sorted alphabetically. When ordering always mention your pitch number.

Cancellation insurance

If you have not taken out cancellation insurance and wish to cancel the reservation, this is done in accordance with the conditions of the RECRON sector association. In case of premature departure (e.g. bad weather, illness etc.) there will be no refund. Below you will find the conditions and you can calculate the premium.

In case of cancellation the holiday maker pays a compensation to the entrepreneur.
This amounts to

In case of cancellation more than three months before the starting date, 15% of the agreed price.
In case of cancellation within three to two months before the commencement date, 50% of the agreed price.
In case of cancellation within two to one months before the commencement date, 75% of the agreed price.
In case of cancellation within one month before the commencement date, 90% of the agreed price.
In case of cancellation on the day of the commencement date, 100% of the agreed price.
You can take out cancellation insurance for your holiday at the same time as you make your booking or else no later than one week after the booking date. The policy is administered by recreatieverzekering.nl.

The user name is the e-mail address known to us.

I want to enter the campsite with two cars, is that possible?

One car is allowed on the campsite at a time, unless the chalet has a second parking space. If this is not the case, the second car should be parked in front of the barrier on the green strip.

Camping

Are awnings/canopies/party tents allowed?

It is allowed to place 1 awning and 1 open canopy in front of your caravan. Multiple awnings and canopies are not allowed. A party tent is not allowed.

Are the sanitary facilities open?

Both of the sanitairy buildings are open

Can we set up a small tent on our pitch?

An additional tent of 2 by 2 metres is allowed on the pitch.

Does the campsite have pre-season and post-season pitches?

The campsite does not have any pre- or post season pitches. 

How big is my pitch?

All comfort pitches at the campsite are at least 100 m2 to 120 m2 in size. There are some pitches with slightly less m2, you can see the exact size of each pitch during the booking process. The deluxe comfort/camper XL pitches are at least 120 m2.

How does using the dishwasher work?

With the shower cards you receive at check-in, you can use the dishwasher in the sanitary building once a day.

How many people can I register on 1 pitch?

You can stay on a pitch with max. 6 persons.

I have made a reservation for a camping pitch but have not yet received a booking confirmation. What should I do?

I see that showering at the campsite is done with a shower card, how does this work?

To use the showers in the campsite you need a shower card. When you check in at reception, you will be given a shower card containing 100 points per day, which is equivalent to 5 minutes shower time. You must insert the card into a device at the showers. As soon as you insert the card and turn on the tap, your credit will be reduced. Please pay close attention to this! You can see on the screen how much credit is left on your shower card. If you run out of credit, you can recharge the card at one of the recharge points or at reception. This costs € 1,50,- per 5 minutes.

I will be camping; at what time can i check in on the day of arrival?
  • Check in is possible from 13:00 hrs.
  • Departure is before 11:00 hrs.

Accommodations

Are the bed linen and towel sets included in the rental properties?

In our chalets the linen packages are included in the reservation. A towel package must be booked in addition, the costs are €10,00 per package.

Are there rental properties suitable for disabled people?

There are no rental accommodations suitable for disabled persons.

Can a small tent be placed near the rental accommodation?

It is not allowed to set up a small tent in the rental accommodation.

I have made a reservation for accommodation but have not yet received a booking confirmation. What should I do?

I have rented accommodation, at what time can I check in and out at the campsite?

Check in is from 15:30 hours
Departure is before 10:30 hours

Is there heating in the Zanzi tents that are rented?

There is a hot air heater.

Which coffee machine is available?

On the website it is stated for each type of accommodation which coffee machine is available.

Are the catering facilities open?

Foodcourt42, Eb & Vloed and ZuidZuidWest are open daily. For the opening ours you can click here

Are there lockers in the park?

There are lockers in the swimming pool. You pay € 0.20 for them.

Can I make reservations for the restaurant?

You can do so at https://www.ebenvloedrenesse.nl/.

Can I use the washing machine during my stay?

This is possible! There is a launderette at the campsite. You can recharge your Julianahoeve pass with € 6,- for 1 turn of laundry. Detergent is then automatically added and there are several programmes available. For drying you can recharge your pass with € 3. You can find charging stations outside the reception or near the sanitary building on Park Waterhoen. You can also recharge your pass at the reception.

How does access to the swimming pool work?

Access to the swimming pool works only with face recognition. Through MyJulianahoeve, under the heading access swimming pool, our guests can upload a face photo.

I am not staying at the campsite, can I use the swimming pool?

This is only possible outside of vacations and busy periods. Do you doubt whether this is possible? Please contact the reception.

I have already checked out, can I still use the campsite facilities?

You can use the swimming pool and facilities all day. You can park your car and your camping equipment on the parking spot outside the 30 minutes zone.

Is there a supermarket in the campsite?

We have a supermarket with a wide range of products, delicious sandwiches and cakes. You can find the opening hours here.

Is there any entertainment at the park?

The entertainment team is present at most weekends, on public holidays and during the holiday period. Click here for the exact dates and programme.

Is there wifi at the campsite?

Of course you have access to wifi on the entire campsite. Please note that it only has a limited speed, therefore it is not suitable for downloading films, watching HD live streams or playing computer games. But sharing your holiday photos via Whatsapp and social media and keeping up with your e-mail will be fine.

What if there is an emergency and the reception is closed?

At the barrier of the main entrance there is a bell with which you can reach a staff member in case of an emergency. There is also a general emergency number, 112. If you have called 112, you must also report this by using the button at the barrier.

When is the swimming pool open?

The swimming pool is open every day from 9 till 8 pm. 

Because the spray park is outside, the spray park will only be open in good weather.

Entertainment

How long before an activity should you register?

24 hours in advance. Please note that it is not necessary to sign up for all acitivities.

Are groups of young people travelling alone allowed in the campsite?

Camping & Beachresort Julianahoeve is a family campsite. Young people under 21 years of age are not permitted on the campsite without parental guidance. Groups are not aloud.

Can someone stay with us during our stay?

Guests are welcome at the campsite. Guests must be registered and pay an overnight fee. This includes a day ticket for the swimming pool for a minimum of two nights.

How can I extend or shorten my holiday?

How can I see which camping pitches are still available?

Via search & book on our website you can see which camping pitches are still available in a certain period. Fill in your period and then click on 'choose pitch'. If there is still availability, you will see the free camping pitches marked with green arrows on the map.

I have made a reservation at Camping & Beach Resort Julianahoeve. How do I pay for my holiday?

After booking your holiday at Camping & Beachresort Julianahoeve you will receive a booking confirmation. This will state the total price of the reservation and the exact payment terms. Have you forgotten to pay? Please contact the reception as soon as possible!

Is there a minimum stay?

In some periods we use an arrangement. For example: Easter, Ascension, Whitsun and Fronleichnam. In these periods only the whole package can be booked. In the summer holidays the minimum stay is 7 days.

My guests are arriving earlier / leaving later, how can I tell?

If the reservation has already been entered in My Julianahoeve, no more changes can be made online. Please send an e-mail to info@julianahoeve.nl and we will adjust the reservation.

Until what age does the site say my child is a baby?

Up to 1 year of age a child is considered a baby, from 2 years of age they are considered children.

Until when can we cancel without charge?

You can cancel free of charge within 24 hours of booking, after which a fee will be charged. The costs depend on the date of cancellation.

Are there any walking/cycling routes near the campsite?

You can use the walking and cycling network directly from the campsite. Cycle or walk through the dunes and forest to Burgh-Haamstede or to Zierikzee.

Can family/friends visit the campsite?

Visitors are welcome. In order to prevent unwelcome visitors, they must be reported to reception. Visitors can use the swimming pool outside the holidays at a charge of €7.50 per person.

How far is the centre of Renesse?

The centre of Renesse is 1.5 kilometres from the camping site.

Is the campsite close to the beach?

The campsite borders directly on the dunes of the long North Sea beach. Within 5 minutes you are at the beach.

What attractions are there in the area?

Visit Delta park Neeltje Jans, Klimbos Westenschouwen, seal shelter Aseal or Speelboerderij 't Klok'uus. More information can be found on our excursion page.

Which nice towns and villages are in the vicinity of the campsite?

In the surrounding area, you will find nice towns like Zierikzee, Goes and Middelburg. Special villages in Zeeland are for example Veere, Brouwershaven and Domburg.
